Terms of service

These terms govern your use of the Jarchemy starter-journal service.

Your account

You are responsible for your account, the accuracy of information you enter, and activity performed through your sign-in. Do not use Jarchemy to upload unlawful material or interfere with the service.

Food-safety notice

Jarchemy provides organization and educational prompts, not medical, food-safety, or professional baking advice. Starter appearance and fermentation can vary. When you see fuzzy growth or unusual pink, orange, green, blue, or black coloring, use appropriate food-safety guidance and discard when in doubt.

Subscriptions

Paid features, prices, billing intervals, trials, and renewal terms will be shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew until canceled. You can manage billing from Account settings. Except where law requires otherwise, charges for a completed billing period are non-refundable.

Your content

You keep ownership of the journal entries and photos you upload. You give Jarchemy permission to store and process that content only as needed to provide and improve the service. You can export your journal and delete your account.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Jarchemy available and protect your records, but the beta may change and uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed. Features may be improved, replaced, or discontinued with reasonable notice when practical.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Jarchemy is provided without warranties and the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the service.

Ending use

You may stop using Jarchemy or delete your account at any time. Access may be suspended for misuse, security threats, or material violation of these terms.
